Call out FedEx

FedEx has a choice to make. Are they going to join UPS and other shipping companies and stand up for sharks, or are they going to continue contributing to sharks’ extinction?

Now is the time for us all do to our part to save sharks, and demand that FedEx stop shipping shark fins. The company is beginning to sweat and has acknowledged our request to make change to their policy and has pushed our request up to their senior leadership.

Script Option 1 (short)

Hi Carmine,

Script Option 2 (detailed)

Hi Carmine,

I would like to leave a message for Fred Smith. My name is ________ . I am calling in regards to FedEx’s policy on shark fin.  UPS banned shark fin due to concerns about the enforcement capabilities of the authorities and potential inaccuracy of visual inspection used by experts as part of the CITES certification process.

Since the potential for misidentification presents an unacceptable business condition for UPS, how then can FedEx ENSURE that it is not breaking the law? I ask that your company does the right thing and changes its policy right now, joining UPS and others. Thank You.
