Skype in the Classroom (discontinued)

OPS delivers virtual lessons on species and ocean protection through its participation in Skype in the Classroom (SITC). For over five years we have conducted close to 100 classroom conversations annually, reaching thousands of students worldwide about species protection and ocean conservation. Through this educational, online program, OPS staff conducted virtual presentations for students of all ages – from grade school through the high school level. Our SITC virtual field trips seek to inspire future ocean ambassadors, activists, and change agents that strive to protect our planet. In 2018, OPS reached hundreds of educators who participated in our virtual field trip about sea turtles.

NOTE: the SITC program has been discontinued as of December 2020. Find more resources for students to learn about conservation and help protect our planet here: https://opsociety.org/online-learning/
